Symptoms

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) are installed on two different host machines having a firewall configured between the two servers. Also, the EDQ JMX port has been opened in the firewall as required.

When attempting to launch an EDQ job from ODI the following message is signaled:
