Qn1: Need to confirm if the password submitted from the login page is sent to the ldap server encrypted or in clear text?
If it is sent in clear text, how to encrypt it? Is https the only way?

Qn2: With LDAP authentication and credential map, how to lockout a user after a fixed number of login attempts?
