Recommendations on how to maintain an Active-Active Delivery and DR systems (Doc ID 1565258.1)

Goal

We have a Editorial system that publishes to a Delivery system, and we have a DR system (disaster recover). Is there any best or recommended strategy to sync Delivery and DR and make them in Active-Active configuration? The idea is that although Delivery and DR would be in Active-Active configuration, live traffic is only diverted to DR in the event of Delivery failing. So we need to make sure that the two systems Delivery and DR are identical in terms of content all times.
