Unable to Search a .pdf file using SES (Doc ID 1565689.1)

Symptoms

could not search a .pdf file with admin user lately, it works before, and without SES

Changes

have made several actions 
a. clean out log files
b. customer have moved vault and weblayout directory, because the origin ones were full
c. other things I dont recall, but it seems nothing to do with this issue
