Looping Occurs After OAM SSO Login With WebGate 11g and Internet Explorer Client (Doc ID 1566549.1)

Symptoms

An application resource has been protected with Oracle Access Manager (OAM) using WebGate 11g version.


Generally access to OAM-protected resources is successful. However on specific client machines using Internet Explorer (IE) browser looping occurs after submitted credentials in the OAM SSO login page.

The problem does not reproduce with Firefox or other non-IE browsers.

The issue does not reproduce when WebGate 10g is used.

Steps to reproduce

1. User accesses OAM-protected site using Internet Explorer.
2. User is presented with the OAM SSO login page.
3. User submits valid credentials.
4. Looping occurs and the application page is not displayed.
