Oracle Fusion Middleware - Version 11.1.1.6.0 to 11.1.1.6.0 [Release Oracle11g]

Symptoms

Installed IDM 11g, e.g., 11.1.1.6 and applied latest patchset, e.g., 11.1.1.7, and during configuring, getting error while starting the Oracle Internet Directory.

Error in /oraInventory/install<date>AM.log shows:

Error creating ASComponent oid1.
Cause:
An internal operation has failed: Failed to start the component
Action:
See logs for more details.

 

Error in oidmon.*.log shows, for example:

Guardian: WARNING: Connected to incorrect OID base schema version, (version=OID 11.1.1.5.0).       
WARNING: OID (version  11.1.1.7.0) is now operating in read_only mode
