Last updated on MARCH 18, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 11.1.1.6.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

With Internet Explorer 8, in Sites 11.1.1.6.1, in the Contributor UI, in an asset's 'Body' CKEditor attribute, embed included a template which rendered an HTML form tag in the field.

After save, and on inspection of this asset again, it displays a blank page, and this javascript error occurs. This only happens in IE8.  FF and Chrome shows the asset correctly.
