Symantec Backup Software Fails Due To WebLogic Server Registry Keys On Windows
(Doc ID 1571094.1)
Last updated on JUNE 10, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3 to 10.3.6Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)
Symptoms
The Symantec backup on a Windows server is failing. According to Symantec, this is due to the Windows Registry key for the beasvc.exe file which doesn’t have correct path specified for it in the Registry. The beasvc.exe file is present in a Windows directory which seems to be a location different from what is specified in the Windows Registry. (The Registry is part of the System State’s backup)
