Error OGG-00868 From Extract Process When Replicating Between SQL*Server Databases Using GoldenGate 11.2

Symptoms

Using GoldenGate 11.2 to replicate between 2 SQL*Server databases gives the following error for the extract process -

2013-07-18 17:07:42 ERROR OGG-00868 Executing statement for select operation
Database error 2812 ([Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] I cannot find the storage process 'sp_dboption'
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Unable to pre-define.



The ggserr.log has the following messages -

2013-07-27 13:38:57 WARNING OGG-01842 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for SQL Server, EXTDB1.prm: CACHESIZE PER DYNAMIC DETERMINATION (1G) LESS THAN RECOMMENDED: 64G (64bit system)
vm found: 1.32G
Check swap space. Recommended swap/extract: 128G (64bit system).
