The Character '&' In The Path Of The END_URL Parameter Causes Truncation Of The Rest Of The URL (Doc ID 1572637.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 31, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Access Manager - Version 11.1.2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When creating a complex end_url string, everything after the '&' character is truncated in the end_url parameter from OAM. Example:
In the URL https://<HOST>:<PORT>/<PROTECTED_URL>&<MORE_URI_PATH>?<QUERY_STRING> the result from OAM in the end_url parameter is https://HOST>:<PORT>/<PROTECTED_URL>. The remainder <MORE_URI_PATH>?<QUERY_STRING> is truncated.

Is this normal behavior?
