How to Setup an IPMP Administrative Interface on Exalogic Storage Nodes (Doc ID 1574751.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 09, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software - Version 2.0.3.0.0 to 2.0.4.0.3
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Due to the size of the SSDs that come stock in the Exalogic Compute Nodes, it may be necessary, in some circumstances, to have more available disk space for utilities like kdump. As kdump doesn't load Infiniband drivers by default, an alternate, high availability solution using NFS is useful.
