WebCenter Content (WCC) Desktop Integration Suite (DIS) Error: "A connection with the server 'SERVER_NAME' could not be established" (Doc ID 1577012.1)

Symptoms

Attempt to Check-In (Save As) content from any Microsoft Office applications a connection to WCC is successful.   However, navigating down the folder hierarchy results in an Error:  "A connection with the server 'SERVER_NAME' could not be established".

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open an Office application
  2. Click the WCC link
  3. Select Save as New
  4. Select a Folder containing content and at least one sub-folder
  5. Pop Up will display with Error:  "A connection with the server <WCC server> could not be established"
