Symptoms

Oracle Solaris Studio 12.2, 12.3, 12.4 or Oracle Developer Studio 12.5, 12.6 is installed via IPS on Solaris 11.

Trying to apply patches for Oracle Solaris Studio fails with "No updates available for this image.", for example (12.2 package names)

# pkg update analyzer backend c++ cc dbx fortran c++-libs perflib
No updates available for this image.

or (12.4 package names)

# pkg update performance-analyzer code-analyzer  backend c++ cc dbx fortran c++-libs studio-gccrt perflib
No updates available for this image.
