Purpose
This document intends to explain how a Group Space (aka Portal in 11.1.1.8.x+) along with its content in the Content Server may be exported from one (source) instance of Oracle WebCenter Portal (WCP) into another (target) instance of WCP.
Scope
This document will assist in maintenance of multiple WCP instances by copying content across instances. The details described here-in are presented in a sequence of steps as performed during an export/impot task and intended for Group Space/Portal Administrators. This document is expected to complement the Managing Export, Import, Backup, and Recovery of WebCenter Portal chapter of Oracle® Fusion Middleware Administrator's Guide for Oracle WebCenter Portal, and not a replacement of it.
