Symptoms

Getting error when using Oracle Web Logic Server (WLS) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 11g standalone, (or on Exalytics), with an Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) authenticator.  A split profile is used that includes a combination of an Oracle Identity Store (OID) LDAP and Windows Active Directory (AD).  After setting up this authenticator, users that are defined in OID can connect successfully to WLS , but users from the AD LDAP cannot connect and get error:

"Authentication Denied"
