After completing a successful upgrade, users cannot see the list of available WEM applications (Doc ID 1579551.1)

Symptoms

After a successful upgrade, users are unable to login through the WEM UI. They are able to log in, but after login they get to the Site selection, and there are no apps to choose from. Instead it says "All Apps", which does nothing when clicked.

The logs show a NullPointerException:
