ODSEE - Unable to Register DSCC Agent With Error "Port <XXXX> is already in use by [dsee7/var/dcc/agent/] on this hostname" (Doc ID 1579600.1)

Symptoms

A previously registered agent was improperly removed or lost, and it was necessary to recreate/register an agent with the DSCC ADS instance.  An error "(Port <PORT> is already in use by [/<DS_INSTALL>/dsee7/var/dcc/agent/] on this hostname)" is encountered running dsccreg add-agent.

  

  
So [/<DS_INSTALL>/dsee7/var/dcc/agent] has not been registered in DSCC on <HOSTNAME>.
