Symptoms

After clients have been updated with Java 7 Update 25 (or more recent) a Forms application running on an intranet now fails with an error message titled "Application Blocked for Security" and stating:

Failed to validate certificate.
The application will not be executed.

Location:  http://host:port/forms/java

Changes

 Updated the Java Plug-In version to Java 7 Update 25 (or more recent).

 Client machine now has no internet access.
