Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11gR1 (11.1.1.x) and 11gR2 (11.1.2.x) is installed with it's own implementation of Oracle Coherence. It is specifically designed for use with OAM and is installed automatically as part of OAM 11g installation.

1. Is OAM Coherence the same thing as the "Oracle Coherence" installation that can be installed as part of the WebLogic Server installation? Is it required to select Oracle Coherence when installing WebLogic Server for an OAM domain?

2. How to configure OAM Coherence?

3. In the OAM_DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig/oam-config.xml file there are OAM Coherence settings for AdminServer:

OAM Server does not run on AdminServer so why does it need OAM Coherence configuration?
The AdminServer OAM Coherence settings are not exposed in OAM Console so how can they be modified?

4. For other Oracle Fusion Middleware products, coherence-override files that are loaded when starting the [managed] server can be used to override the default Coherence configuration, is that an option for OAM 11g servers?
