OID 11g DIP After Full Disk Space Condition, Viewing DIP Logs in EM Fails with: Stream closed / ADF_FACES-60097 / ADF_FACES-60096. Log Error: javax.faces.FacesException: Stream closed (Doc ID 1581334.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 28, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version 11.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g with Directory Integration Platform (DIP).

Log files consumed 100% of disk space which affected the startup of the WLS Admin Server.

Later, after a successful startup of the WLS Admin Server and other components, now seeing errors in DIP Server log files.

DIP sync is working, but sometimes it fails for individual entries and it is necessary to review the logs.

When attempting to review the logs via the EM interface by:

1.  Logging in to the EM interface as weblogic user
2.  Selecting DIP
3.  Clicking the Server dropdown menu
4.  Clicking Logs
5.  Clicking View Logs or Log Configuration, the following error is returned:

Stream closed

ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #6

The WLS Admin Server diagnostic log shows, for example:

Verified the ADF version matches:

Tried restarting the items in the proper order as per the following Note:

Accessing DIP 11g In EM FMW Control Console Fails With: java.lang.NullPointerException / ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, # / Or: "Error getting backend type" <Document 1500919.1>.

Also restarted DIP, and even recycled entire server, but the same error persists.
