IPM Email Service Fails to Start and Error "Windows API error: function: LogonUser, error: 1326," Occurs in the Logs. (Doc ID 1583348.1)

Symptoms

There is an issue with the Email service configuration in Gencfg.exe (Services - Configuration).

When using an NT Login and a mailbox configuration, the Outlook profile has been created on the server.  Gencfg.exe is configured to use the same NT Login. however the IPM Email Service fails to start with the following error message in the IPM Log file :

Windows API error: function: LogonUser, error: 1326,
Description:  Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.
