Logout from OIF Cluster Does Not Trigger the Logout from the Service Provider (Doc ID 1584533.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Identity Federation ( OIF )  is configured in a cluster installation as an IDP.

The OIF instances are front ended by an Oracle HTTP Server ( OHS ) using the WebLogic proxy module mod_wl_ohs .

If only one OIF instance is running , a call to " /fed/user/logout" triggers the logout from accessed Service Provider ( SP ) .

If both OIF instances are started  the SPs logout URLs are not called.

The OIF diagnostic log file shows the message:
