Custom Views not Working in BPM Worklist on a Space: "soa-infra-config.xml does not exist" (Doc ID 1584931.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 11.1.1.7.0 to 11.1.1.8.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Spaces-to-BPM integration setup has been done as documented here:

Oracle® Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle WebCenter Portal
11g Release 1 (11.1.1.7.0)

Part Number E12001-12

3.2.3.3 Extending a Domain to Enable Oracle BPM Process Spaces

When running the BPM worklistapp itself, everything seems to look fine.

In a Space the worklist is showing up but any of the custom view links on the left hand side menu throw an error.

The following error is shown in the WC_Spaces-diagnostic log:

Persistency service internal error: Error in getting XML input stream: oramds:/soa/configuration/default/soa-infra-config.xml: oracle.mds.exception.MDSException: MDS-00054: The file to be loaded oramds:/soa/configuration/default/soa-infra-config.xml does not exist.
Persistency service experienced unexpected internal error.
Check the underlying exception and correct the error. If the error persists, contact Oracle Support Services.
