Purpose

This document describes how to configure Active Directory (AD) with SSL.

The steps to enable AD with SSL pertains to OUD KM documentation, but in fact could be used by any person needing to configure AD.
Moreover, this document applies to any Oracle Directory Service Product (OID/OUD/ODSEE/OVD) and also any other product where AD configuration is required.
