Information in this document applies to any platform.
In Exalogic environment running SOA and OSB applications issue of OSB and SOA applications unable to communicate over SDP protocol is observed. Following is environment configuration
- Exalogic environment with Infiniband bond0 network which supports SDP protocol.
- Oracle Traffic Director (OT) which proxies requests OSB Servers which in turns connects to SOA Servers. Below is request flow.
Client -> OTD -> OSB -> SOA
In above architecture OTD requests connect to OSB servers over SDP protocol over Infiniband. But the communication between OSB and SOA servers uses HTTP protocol instead of SDP even though Infiniband network is being used and SDP protocol is enabled.
This issue can be verified by using “sdpnetstat” command.
