Goal

Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c (12.1.2 and newer) provides a new version of OPatch, version 13, aligned with Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) NextGen installations. This document provides information to get started with using OUI NextGen OPatch 13 when needing to apply a one-off patch to your installed home(s). It is not recommended to upgrade OPatch in Oracle Fusion Middleware environments until this document is updated to confirm it has been verified.
