Using ssoadm with multi tier load balancers (Doc ID 1589156.1)

Goal

When running ssoadm with OpenSSO, with a multi-tier load balancers such as

OpenSSO setup:
=============

tier1 LB -> tier2 LB -> osso1, osso2

tier1 is SSL enabled and
tier2 and osso1 and osso2 in *not* SSL enabled

You may encounter errors such as

"Caused by: com.sun.identity.security.AMSecurityPropertiesException: AdminTokenAction: FATAL ERROR: Cannot obtain Application SSO token."

and

"Check AMConfig.properties for the following properties
  com.sun.identity.agents.app.username
  com.iplanet.am.service.password"
