You have confgured a Generic FTP-1.0 channel with Enable Marker checked to deliver files to your trading partner.
When a file is sent a zero-byte file is created with the same name as the source but with extension '.marker', indicating completion of writing.
In your legacy application which you will be migrating to Fusion Middleware, you use '.done' extension to indicate end of writing, and you write files to many systems that expect this extension.

Is there a parameter that can be used to configure the extension of the marker file?
