Last updated on MAY 11, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle GoldenGate Application Adapters - Version 11.2.1.0.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

OGG Adapter VAM capture v11.2.1.0.0 is not able to capture deletes from JMS message CSV.  The following two CSV contents were tried:

The format is: <table and schema>,<optype>,<ID>,<key>

The default JavaUE sends:

<schema name>.<table name>,D,<ID>

The primary key is missing from this operation.  Testing created a custom CSV message formatter and sent the following:

<schema name>.<table name>,D,<ID>,<Key>

This also didn't work with the following VAM error:

2013-08-21 14:29:34  INFO    OGG-00178  VAM Client Report <Error occured in
delimitedparser.c[951]: Number of fields parsed 1 does not match definition
