BPM Workspace Issues: Unable To Map Flexfields, View Preferences, View Rules (Doc ID 1592880.1)

Symptoms


In one customer's environment, when they are trying to map Flexfield labels to composites, after clicking the "Edit mappings by task type", when clicking the magnifying glass to view all of the deployed composites, they get the error "Search failed with an error. Could not locate composite. Ensure composite has been successfully deployed, and that the SOA server has completed loading composites."

There could also be missing columns in the Edit Inbox dialog and Business Rules might not be listed as well. In the SOA diagnostic logs you will find an error such as:

It was noticed that this composite was not seen in the EM also. It seems to be the case of an unsuccessful undeploy operation (since the composite might be present in the BPM_CUBE_PROCESS table with state 1 (active) but not showing up in the EM).
