Application Page Does Not Render Properly When Using WebLogic Server plugin 1.1 and IIS 6.0

Symptoms
Customer reports using IIS 6.0 with WLS 11g/12c plugin to proxy requests to WLS. The context root of the ADF application, deployed on WLS, is: /demo. But the purpose is to access this application via IIS 6.0 and using the context root as /demo-ms2. So on the browser, typing "http://webserver-IIS-URL/demo-ms2" should render the same page as this URL: "http://webserver-IIS-URL/demo"
However, the .css and the .img files were missing and the page content was not displayed properly.
