OAM 11g: Audit Logs Not Written for Managed Servers (Doc ID 1596159.1)

Goal

Have installed Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11g R2 and have seen the following issue:

  - On the Admin server the audit logs are written

  - On the managed servers the audit logs are not getting written.

We are looking for the audit logs in the following directory;

/user_projects/domains/oam_domain/servers//logs/auditlogs/oam

On the managed servers the directory structure auditlogs/oam does not even exist.
