Error 500 Downloading/Printing Large PDF Reports While Using Apex Listener 2.0 (Doc ID 1598555.1)

Symptoms

While downloading a large report as PDF format one of the following errors is appearing:

The same error occurs regardless of whether the APEX Listener is running in standalone mode or is deployed through Glassfish or Weblogic.

Smaller reports run without error.

Changes

 Report Printing was enabled using the APEX Listener: 

o Connected into Internal Workspace as ADMIN. 

o For the "Printer Server"  under "Manage Instance" -> "Instance Settings" ,  the Administrator chose the APEX Listener option.
