Tree Property Not Allowing "searching" When More Than 1000 Records Are Returned (Doc ID 1598913.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Interaction - Version 6.1.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a property with a 'Tree' Property Chooser Type is associated with a database with 1000 or more entries, the chooser window contains the following message at the bottom of the list, where "search" is a link to the top of the chooser window:

Maximum limit has been reached (1000 items).
Use search to access remaining items.

When clicking on the "search" link, this brings the user back to the top of the list, but a search box is not present.

This behavior has been verified in ALUI/WCI 6.1.x, 10.3.0.x, and 10.3.3.
