After Configuring OraDav "The folder you entered does not appear to be valid" Error Message Is Displayed

Symptoms
OraDav has being setup in a development environment running Oracle HTTP Server 11g version 11.1.1.7.
The httpd.conf file has being configured correctly as per the documentation and the directory can be browsed successfully without any issues using a internet browser; for example Internet Explorer or Firefox.
However, when trying to map the URL from a client PC or trying to browse the folder as a "WebFolder", it doesn't work and return this error:
(x) The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another
