'Alter Flow & Suspend' Does Not Do Any Action In Process Instance Space (Doc ID 1600498.1)

Symptoms

This problem happens in an environment with WebCenter and SOA integrated.
The Audit Trail task flow is shown as expected in the Webcenter Process Instance Space for a task.
However, selecting 'Alter Flow & Suspend' from the Actions menu for this task flow does not perform any actions.
The expected behaviour is to see a dialog box pop up which has various fields including Data objects.
This is what we would expect to see from Spaces too, but is failing to display.


The equivalent functionality works fine directly in the BPM Workspace interface.
My Tasks -> Process Tracking -> Select Action -> Alter Flow & Suspend .
We see dialog box open which has various fields that the user can provide input to.
