Community Application Cannot Authenticate Against Cas: error.authentication.credentials.bad (Doc ID 1600535.1)

Purpose

We are seeing the following error message in the CAS.LOG when authenticating with the Community module. We suspect the password configured in the property files is wrong. Is it possible to change the settings when the installation has already completed ?
