The Ssowebho.exe Process Cycles Endlessly Causing High CPU usage (Doc ID 1601605.1)

Last updated on MARCH 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On Suite Plus - Version to [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

With Logon Manager running the mouse always has the spinning wheel going, as if there is a process that is constantly running.  In Task Manager the ssowebho.exe process can be seen crashing and respawning endlessly, and high cpu usage is experienced.  The ssowebho.exe process will have a different PID (process ideitifier) for each instance of the process seen in task manager as it crashes and respawns.  You may need to perform a "View->Select Columns" and add the PID column to task manager to see the changing PID.
