Portal 11g Omniportlet Edit Defaults Fails With Error "Cannot Store Connection Information In The Repository Because The Repository Has Not Been Configured" (Doc ID 1604964.1)

While Editing Connection Details for a SQL datasource, either saving the connection information or opening the Connection Name LOV fails with an error :

Steps to Reproduce :

  1. Use the 'Edit Defaults' setting to edit the Omniportlet settings
  2. Choose 'SQL' for 'What type of data would you like to view?'
  3. Press the 'Edit Connection' button to go to the Connection Information screen
