Oracle WebCenter Content - Version and later
Oracle WebCenter Content: Imaging - Version to [Release 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Up to Oracle RDBMS 12c Release 1, the number of SDATA fields in an Oracle Text Index was limited to 32.  In Oracle 12c, this limit has been increased to 99.

These changes have also been backported to Oracle DB, as well as Oracle DB, but on a limited number of platforms.

This note explains how to use more than 32 SDATA fields with WebCenter Content.

Note: If this limit is not raised and you have more than 32 SDATA fields defined, you receive an error like this when you attempt to rebuild the seach collection:
Number of SDATA section exceeds limit(32)
