Symptoms

When attempting to change the timeout for the Oracle JDBC Driver connection in ODI, versions 11.1.1.5 through 11.1.1.6.0, for the Standalone Agent by adding a timeout setting in the odiparams.bat/sh script, the setting is ignored:

The timeout is set in seconds and in this example is being set to 60000 seconds.
