How to Remove Items From Your MyWorkFlowAssignments Queue (Doc ID 1610765.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.7.0 version, Content Server

After removing content items from the content server which were in an active criteria workflow, the content for the items was gone but references to the content remain for some users in MyWorkflow assignments. When clicking on one of the content items, The following error occurs:

ERROR

Unable to download "". The content item "" no longer exists in the system.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Criteria Workflow
2. Check in some content that goes into workflow
3. Remove the content
4. Click on MyWorkflow assignments
5. Click on one of the content items

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot test new workflows
