Managed Server Status Is Shutdown or Unknown After it has Been Suspended and Resumed and the Admin Server is Restarted (Doc ID 1611845.1)

Symptoms

Admin server is unable to reconnect to a managed server if the managed server has been suspended and resumed when the admin server is restarted. These are the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. A managed server is suspended and later resumed. The status is reported correctly at this time.
  2. At a later time the Admin server is restarted and the managed server reports as shutdown or unknown.
