Performance Issue: Lazy OTO Unnecessarily Triggered When Querying Via Stored Procedure (Doc ID 1612538.1)

Symptoms

One to one relationships marked as lazy are being triggered unnecessarily when the objects are queried via a stored procedure in a transaction and REFRESH hint (RefreshIdentityMapResult) is set to true.
As a result, additional queries are issued to the database when they are not needed which lead to performance degradation.

Occurrences of this issue:

  No  -  Toplink 11.1.1.4/ Eclipselink 2.1.2
  No  -  Toplink 11.1.1.5/ Eclipselink 2.1.3
  Yes -  Toplink 11.1.1.6/ Eclipselink 2.3.1
  Yes -  Toplink 12.1.2.0/ Eclipselink 2.4.2
