oracle.toplink.internal.sessions.CommitManager Leak when Using Non XA Data Sources (Doc ID 1613066.1)

Last updated on MARCH 30, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle(R) BPEL Process Manager 10g - Version 10.1.3.5.0 to 10.1.3.5.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In a BPEL process (running in AS 10.1.3.5), there are  N (5000 for instance) BPEL instances are started.
Each started instance will update a different row (just one entity) viaBPEL/ DB Adapter which is using Toplink (Toplink 10.1.3.5).

After executing this sequence, and taking a heap dump, the problem is that under the oracle.toplink.internal.sessions.CommitManager instance
there are N objects of class:
  bpel_localhost_default_TestToplinkLinkLeakPoll_1_0_MDS

These entries do not get collected, even if the process has completed.
