Evaluate User Policies job is failing when run at periodic intervals but runs fine when run manually after applying OIM11.1.5 BP06.
Two different symptoms are happening:
1. When scheduled, the job appears to run in the log file, but access policies are not triggered, and there is no entry in the Job History window in OIM, however the "Next Scheduled Run" value is updated as expected.
OIM-diagnostric Log entry:
QuartzJobListener.jobWasExecuted Description null FullName DEFAULT.Evaluate User Policies Name Evaluate User Policies
2. When clicking Run Now, Job History shows success, however, the diagnostic log shows exception:
oracle.iam.platform.kernel.EventFailedException: Operation - EVALUATE_POLICIES that is submitted as part of the orchestration is not supported.
This exception corresponds to Document 1533117.1 in the knowledge base, however the solution there does not apply, as the Patch log shows successful completion of the BP-06 patch.
This article will help identify the solution to the issue on OIM126.96.36.199 BP06 mainly but similar analysis can be performed for later versions of OIM too.
