Purpose

What is being announced?

Oracle WebCenter Content has released a new OPatch for the 11.1.1.8 version.

This patch is unique because it also includes several enhancements to the 11.1.1.8 WebCenter Content User Interface. 

if you are using the new Content UI and you would like these new enhancements the installation of this patch is slightly more complicated than the usual OPatch.

This document will address many of the common questions surrounding this new Patch.

Note:  This Note does not apply to Content Server 11.1.1.9.0 and above. It is only relevant to the 11.1.1.8.0 Content Server version.
