OAM/EBS integration: Page Not Found on protected index.html after the OHS/Webgate 11g registration and configuration

By following the EBS KM doc id 1536941.1 , for Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i with Oracle Access Manager 11gR2 PS1 (22.214.171.124.0)
After registering the webgate as per step 126.96.36.199 from the KM (Registering the WebGate Agent with Oracle Access Manager for EBS:).
We have restarted the OHS instance, but it seems to be facing the following issue:
when accessing http://<ohs_hostname>.<domainname>:<7777>/:
This doesn't appear to work and to return the requested page successfully.
We're getting a page "Not Found" error ( ==> "Not Found - The requested URL /index.html was not found" )
