Symptoms
On : 11.1.1.7.0 version, B2B Engine
When attempting to send an 834 document to a trading partner that includes a Canadian zip code, such as "V6h389", the following error occurs in the SOA diagnostic log file.
If the entire zip code is in uppercase ("V6H389") processing succeeds.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Deploy an 834 agreement.
2. Send an 834 document that includes a zip code that includes lowercase letters.
3. Error occurs.
