SOA EDN-JMS OAOO Events Randomly Fault Under Load and Cannot be Recovered from Error Hospital (Doc ID 1620829.1)

With multiple OAOO "One and Only One" subscribers setup for EDN-JMS, under load, many events may fail to be delivered to subscribers.

This occurs when the EDN mbean property "NumberOfThreads" is set to a number higher than the default of 3.  For example, 20 or more.

The failed events are displayed in the EM console under Business Events > Faults with error "System failure".

The faulted events get inserted into the "edn_event_error_store" table, but the data stored does not provide any useful information about the cause of the fault. (For example: the ERROR_CODE, ERROR_TYPE, and ERROR_MSG columns (respectively), contain the values: xxxxxx, 0, System failure.)

When one attempts to recover the failed events from the Error Hospital, the event is removed from the list, however it is not processed for redelivery.
